Have you ever wondered about the process behind an artist’s creation?
As you may know, the Competitive Mixed Media Paint Off that was to occur in March was postponed due to Covid19. In the light of hope and sharing, we have opted to create a new online version of this event to give our artist community an activity that they can do in their studios or home. The roster of artists who previously applied for this competition will compete on Instagram from May 10 - 16. Artists will have one week to complete a painting based upon using art supplies delivered by SAGA. Artists will post their progress photos or videos during this 7-day period on Instagram and we will share it with you on our Instagram page and Facebook page. For our competitors this is a social media opportunity for artist exposure and SAGA will provide social media guidelines and support. SAGA will jury the completed works to identify the winners, and then artists may auction/sell their artworks online.
