Surrey Art Gallery Association is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting Surrey Art Gallery and local artists.
Our Mission
The Surrey Art Gallery Association (SAGA) raises funds and operates programs that complement those at the Surrey Art Gallery through our membership and other programs. SAGA members encourage public education and conversation in the visual arts and support local visual artists. Proceeds from SAGA’s fundraising contribute to the Surrey Art Gallery’s exhibitions, publications, and programs, including acquiring artworks for the permanent collection and supporting the development of the Gallery’s TechLab and UrbanScreen.
SAGA believes contemporary art provides all people with an opportunity to reflect upon our culture, society, issues, and ideas of our time. The residents of our young, growing city must have access to their visual and cultural heritage. The Surrey Art Gallery Association’s efforts play an essential role in realizing these goals through the events and services provided and by actively supporting the programs of Surrey Art Gallery.
